Our mission in the Caribbean and the Netherlands: To save unborn children and lead their parents to the Savior.
An unintended pregnancy can turn life upside down. But what is best for the mother and her baby?
With practical help and loving support, we guide mothers in the Caribbean through this difficult phase. During pregnancy and in the period that follow. So that they can move forward in a safe and healthy environment.
At the same time, we share God’s love and grace, for that is the foundation upon which we build. When a person is saved from death by abortion, we also long for their salvation for eternity. That is why God’s Word and sharing the Gospel are our top priority.
What we do
Save one for Jesus believes in offering hope and support to mothers/parents and their unborn children.
In Curaçao, we operate under the name Laga Mi Biba, which means “Let Me Live.” Our desire is to reach the entire Caribbean. Because there are no active pro-life organizations operating on the island, there is little to no education or care for this vulnerable group. We stand up for them.
In the Netherlands, our foundation raises awareness about the need in the Caribbean. By giving presentations in churches and communities, we aim to share God’s love for every life. We do this by raising awareness that life begins at conception. We are aware that these presentations in the Netherlands can have a significant impact, leading to requests for help. Where possible, and in collaboration with other pro-life organizations in the Netherlands, we also aim to address these needs.
Among the things we are doing are:
- Education
We spread knowledge and information about the development of the unborn child and the alternatives to abortion. Our educations in schools, churches and communities shed light on these important topics. - Practical Help (in the Caribbean)
From maternity kits to guidance on parenting and financial independence. We offer practical help tailored to the needs of the mother and her (unborn) child. - Support
A listening ear, emotional guidance, or help returning to work or school. We are ready to support wherever possible
Why we help
To God, every life is precious and meant to be lived for Him. This truth is the driving force behind everything we do at Save One for Jesus.
Every second, more than 2 babies die worldwide as a result of abortion. Every minute, 139 babies who will never grow up and will never be able to go to college, get married, or travel. Abortion ensures that this group of people never sees the light of day. And thus, they can never freely choose God.
We stand up for them! In the Caribbean and in the Netherlands, we make our voices heard and stand alongside the pregnant parent who is facing an unintended pregnancy.

God intended every life to be lived in freedom. He eagerly looks forward to every person choosing and living for Him. This free choice lies with each individual.
The Save One for Jesus Foundation (Netherlands) and the Laga Mi Biba Foundation (Curaçao) are both pillars that together form a bridge for aid between the Netherlands and the Caribbean.
Bringing the blessing and aid of a pro-life organization to the Caribbean and bringing God’s blessing to the Netherlands by giving talks about God’s passionate love for life from the moment of conception. And at the same time, pointing to the forgiveness and grace found in Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer.
